Step 1
Preparation
We use shot blasting and/or diamond grinding to prepare the concrete surface. This opens the concrete properly and helps the coating system bond the way it should.
Step 2
Concrete Resurfacing
Before coating, we repair cracks, pits, and damaged areas with professional-grade menders and fillers.
Step 3
Basecoat
We mix and apply a 100% solids, self-priming polyurea basecoat to create the foundation for the quartz system.
Step 4
Broadcast Quartz
Once the basecoat is applied, we broadcast quartz aggregate into the coating to build texture, strength, and color.
Step 5
Scrape Quartz
After the first broadcast cures, we scrape and clean the surface to remove loose or standing quartz.
Step 6
Apply UV-Stable Polyaspartic Topcoat
We apply a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat to lock in the first quartz layer and add protection.
Step 7
Apply UV-Stable Polyaspartic Topcoat
A second quartz broadcast is applied to build a thicker, more durable flooring system with added texture.
Step 8
Scrape Quartz Again
The surface is scraped and cleaned again to remove loose quartz and prepare it for the final coat.
Step 9
Apply Second Urethane Topcoat
We apply a second urethane topcoat for added durability, protection, and a finished surface.
